LOWERY STUDENT CENTER

This project was completed while Design Principal with a prior firm. The adaptive reuse of Mendocino College’s original campus Library into Cafe, Dining, Bookstore, and Student Activity Center has helped activate the core of the Ukiah campus. Where a windowless wall once existed, a large glass curtain wall now connects the interior of the building to the new courtyard. The central space of the project functions as a “porch” for students to meet, study, eat, and become comfortable with their place on campus. The remodel of the Lowery Student Center was complete in 2012.

Role: Lead Design Architect / Design Principal
