NEW PROJECT: SITE VISIT

Each project site has its own character. The setting for a new residential project in the area of Bodega is compelling and unique. A short distance from the project site, are the coastline and the Bodega dunes. The landscape is composed of wind-swept grasses and brush, and spotted with sculpted cypress and pine. Underlying the vegetation are sand dunes, altered by the winds and making this a changing ground. The sound of the nearby surf crashing permeates everything. The colors and materials of the site are valuable inspiration for the project. Here we've collected a few samples of debris from the beach to represent the colors and materials contained in the landscape. How might these materials contribute to the project?
